This project explores a more controlled storefront system designed to operate within real Shopify constraints while maintaining clarity, flexibility, and long term maintainability.

Template driven themes restricted both visual expression and system behaviour. Layout constraints limited narrative control, theme bloat affected performance, and structural changes required workarounds instead of true evolution. The objective was to create a modular architecture that allows expressive brand presence without sacrificing performance, clarity, or scalability.

A restrained visual direction was introduced to balance expressive brand moments with navigational clarity. Design began from the desktop experience to establish structural behaviour and interaction logic, followed by mobile adaptation to maintain consistency across breakpoints. The system was implemented through a fully custom Shopify build using Liquid and reusable sections.
